Even sick things can get done!!

So I have been ill since Saturday night.... But I have a hard time just resting and doing nothing!! As I am sure many others do also. So while i am sick I have updated the church website, and created a Facebook age for The Oaks! Check it out! There is a link just to the right----->

Ahhhhh..... The desert!!

So I am loving getting back into the desert!! Got a 2007 Suzuki LTZ400 and went out with Jeff Shaw and Rafa Corona today and we rode for about 6-7hours. It was a blast and a good workout!! Looking forward to our next outing!

Food Poisoning is no fun!!

Well... for the first time in a long time I suffered from some bad food yesterday. I had it pin pointed to some bad pork sausage in an omelet I had. Finally stating to feel better after 24hrs of feeling terrible! Hope to be fully recovered by tomorrow morning so I can get some work done that is overdue now!

Back to the gym!

Wow... it feels so good to be getting back into shape!! I just bought a 2 year membership to 24hr fitness and started going again last week. Went this morning and and I am so glad I am back at it.... I already feel more energized and alert! I also cut sweets and soda out of my diet starting last week and that is helping me feel better to I am sure! Can't wait to see how I feel in a few months!!

Fixin Guitars....

So my new hobby/income is fixing acoustic and electric guitars! Man I am loving it... new challenges and eventually another trade under the belt! I am currently doing setups, pickup installs and minor finish repairs. The next step is to learn how to do crack repair both on the top woods and back/sides woods. I have a few guitars to learn on thanks to my buddy T.J. Baden of Baden Guitars. He gave me some damaged guitars he had in his warehouse to learn on. I am also fixing and doing setup work for him. It is a blast! Looking forward to learning all I can over the years to come!

Starting again!

Well.... I really want to be good at this blogging thing!! So I am going to start again! My goal is to post at the very least once a week but I would like to do more. Should be easy to find stuff to blog about with an amazing wife, 4 great kids from 6months-16 years old, I am a worship pastor, mechanic and have started doing guitar setup and repair also! I am always learning... So from here on out I will be better about sharing what's going on! Promise!
